Review: D4 is a twisted Xbox One adventure that really is 'better with Kinect'

Added: 19.09.2014 15:15 | 14 views | 0 comments

Swery's episodic adventure is a beautifully dark, bonkers Xbox One fantasy.
Your first meaningful interaction in this episodic adventure from the maker of Deadly Premonition involves walking across a frozen lake to push an owl. And that's a long way from the strangest thing you'll be doing over the next few hours, in this bizarre blend of detective drama, surreal comedy and psychological thriller.

My Twin Peaks Week: Deadly Premonition

SB writes: "I know Im dating myself here, but accessing television shows used to be so much harder. You couldnt just buy a DVD of your favorite season or stream them from Amazon or Netflix. So, I never watched Twin Peaks, but from my multiple viewings of Fire Walk with Me, I knew it was a show that I would probably dig. The series has been around for a while now on Netflix and Amazon, so I finally decided to give it a go. I love it, of course. Its totally quirky and right up my alley. I hadnt gotten too far into my marathon viewing before I started to want to play Deadly Premonition again."

D4 PreviewSwery65 Is Back (The Koalition)

Added: 13.06.2014 6:13 | 21 views | 0 comments

Garrett from The Koalition writes: Swery65 released cult hit Deadly Premonition back in 2011, and it gave its players a fascinatingly weird surprise. At first glance, it looked like an outdated, budget survival horror game that looked liked it belonged on a Sega Dreamcast rather than Xbox 360. However, players only needed to play up until Agent York mentioning "FK" being in his coffee to know that there's more to Deadly Premonition presentation lets on. Now, Swery65 has a new project called D4, and it's just as wonderful as its predecessor.
